To avoid sitting on this any longer, I?d like to release an experimental 
version of bsdsocket.library for the IMPBOX.
Because of what it is and what it is meant for, it requires a registered 
IMPBOX ( https://sordan.ie/search/?q=impbox )

This is an early ALPHA version, but it is the most stable one so far. During
testing, I sometimes managed to keep my Amiga from freezing for nearly a full
day while running pings, IRC, or imp3 at the same time. It is definitely not
perfect, but more things work than do not work, so I?m releasing it because I
do not know when I?ll get back to improving it.

The library is only 6 KB, so you can even use it from a floppy disk 

To answer the obvious question in advance: this is a library made exclusively
for this device, so there is no need for any network stack like Roadshow. Just
drop this file into LIBS: and that?s it - the rest is handled by the IMPBOX.

Tested with: IRC, imp3, imp3 net handler, FTP, HTTP and HTTPS in IBrowse, SSH,
ping, etc.
