This player plays synthetical (no external samples) songs created with the Atari ST version of the "Quartet" editor from Illusions/Microdeal. 2. This soundformat was created by Rob Povey & Kevin Cowtan for the Atari ST. Synthetical version perhaps was created and mostly (only ?) used by Steve Wetherill from Eldritch The Cat. 3. This player uses Atari ST soundchip emulators written by Jochen Hippel and meynaf. 4. This version of the "Quartet PSG" player is configurable via the EP player manager. Two ("Mad Max" and "meynaf") different YM2149 emulation routines are available, you can choose between them. The default set is "Mad Max" emulation. The configuration will be saved to either the "EnvArc:EaglePlayer/" and/or "Configs/" directories. If neither of these directories exist the configuration will not be saved. 5. Songs created with the standard (with external samples) version of the "Quartet" editor can be played with "Quartet ST" player (EP_QuartetST.lha). 6.
