Easy1541 is designed to provide EASY access to the Commodore 1541 drive
(and compatibles) to manage old 5.25" disks formatted using standard CBM
DOS 2.6 filesystem. Using the provided IEC: AmigaDOS device or the
command set you can read and write disks created with a Commodore 1541
drive and an 8-bit Commodore home computer (Vic 20, C64, C16/+4 and C128).
What's included?
- A special iec-handler to mount a full AmigaDOS device (IEC:)
- A powerful toolkit to read directories, copy files, and more!
- Commands to read and write D64 disks!
- A complete Exec-style library to support the 1541 drive in your own
programs
- A lot of documentation
- Many examples in 'C' language
What do you need?
- An Amiga Computer
- A Commodore 1541 drive (or compatibles)
- An "Easy1541 Cable" OR a "Frodo IEC Cable"
Easy1541 is for the users that want to exchange files with the old C64 and
for the Developers that want to make direct accesses to the 1541 drive and
other peripherals compatible with the Commodore IEC Bus (old Commodore
Printers and so on...).
