News!
- Thanks to the Amiga-User for their Interest and Tips, at their
suggestion i have replaced the old Drive- and Drawer-Icons with better ones!
Errors on Shadow-Details was removed and the Colorpalette was optimized.
Attention, there are many more Special-Drawer-Icons.
- Overall 1032 NewAge-Icons, 367 Filetype-Icons and 148 Drawer- and DiskIcons.
- 51 new Pattern match with my WB-Color-Theme!
- Matching to the new Interface, a new Skin for PlayCD and one for Amplifier! NEW!!

But the Main Reason for this Version, is the new embedded Support for Default-Icons, with
the matching DefIcons.prefs-File, more about this in "DefIcons.liesmich"

- and for anyone creativ, who use my WB-Color-Theme, as a little Extra the Icons.iff and
Marker.iff for ArtEffect4, they must copied to ArtEffect:Data, Backup of original Files is
recommended.

WHAT IS IT?
- This Replacement is for users of NewAge-IconEdition v. 0.2-0.4 and is sorted in the
same Drawer-Strukture.
- The Drive- and Drawer-Icons are Replacements for the older ones.
- There are to Versions one with the Neon-Effect and for People who dont like that, a Version
(normal) without the Neon-Effect!
- There are two Sizes of any Drawer, theyr Operation is dependend on Screensize and
how many Files you are using on your System. The Basic-Rule, smaller is faster! Smaller
Icons minimizing the use of RAM. Smaller Icons speeds up the Windowrefresh and
smaller Files speeds up the Filetransfers!
REQUIREMENTS
- The complete Icon-Edition was created under the AmigaOS3.9
Environment, you need at least OS3.5 to use them!
- For the use of the Def_Icons, you need the Tool "Deficons" v45.6 from Stephan Rupprecht.
- I recommend the use of WB2Fast, to improve the performance
and to free the ChipRAM.
FEATURES
- Better Color-style, as opposed to standard OS3.9
icons.
- *softer* difference between the selected and unselected
images of the icon (the OS3.9-Icon sets change with to
many contrast, making it hard to work concentrated at
long ranges at the Interface!)
This is the famous NEON EFFECT ;-)
- Hand-drawn, Synergie-Work Amiga meets BeOS, not only
for the making, also for 'the' Look!
- Color gradients, soft shadows (non glowed!), interlaced .
- New Support of Priority-Markers, i use yellow symbols for
hot-actual-Files, blue symbols for older or closed Projects.
- unified Look, that helps to look at the Work, not of the
supercolored Icons! Systemwide Filetype-scheme!
- special for professional Amiga-User's, they're work more
then one Hour on the Interface.
WHY VERSION 0.6
- This is an Replacement for Release 0.2-0.4, important! complete DefIcons and
the deficons.prefs, new DrawerIcons and much more Icons!!
- The Copyrights are the same, as for the Release 0.2
- These are the icons *I* needed on *my* system. With
the usefull BeOS5 in Mind, i intend to creat a Synergie
between BeOS' filehandling and OS3.5' Icon-Features
- thats a 'Present' for the Amiga-Community. With that i
mark the Day, of refinding the best OS! ...i have searched
in the PC-Sector in approx. 5 Years, but could'nt find anyone
like the AmigaOS. Now using AmigaOS3.5, that takes its work
on my WinUAE ... blah blah blaha! Thats old, really old!
Really new is, my new AmigaNG on Amithlon, more Speed, more
Sound, and i wait for Voodoo5-Support in Amithlon, than i'm became
unstoppable!!
Welcome in the Real-Time-AmigaEmulation. I'am home!!
No more Regedit-editing, no more BlueScreens! NO MORE!!
TO DO
- Full Workbench replacement.
- An Installer-Script whould be nice.
- More common applications and datatypes.
- More containers (folders, drawers, disks) corresponding
to the major datatypes.
- Interface-Themes, Toolbar and Animation-Graphics
- User-Rights-Support, Net-Icons
there lots of work, work for days or months, thats why i've
planned to distribute a new, more complete Edition in Winter
2003.
BUGS
Oh no !! Excuse me, but a full-displaying of all of the
NewAge-Icons produces small Artefacts in the Palette of the
Standard-OS3.9-Icons, don't know the reason why;-)
There's no install-script, the use of the Drag'n Drop-Feature
of the AmigaOS3.9-WBInformation is recommended. The
Support of the convert-scripts (coming up with the AmigaOS3.5
CD-Contribution) is not tested!
