'ignition' was in active development for several years, but the intended
commercial release never happened. In August 2006, this beta version
(lacking import/export filters and proper documentation, but otherwise
feature complete) was released.

In October 2008, the sources for the abandoned project were released under
GNU GPL. ignition was ported to AmigaOS 4 in 2015 and is now under active
development for ppc-amigaos. This archive is the only m68k release and is
moved to Aminet for preservation.
