Program 'aMemory' is a well-known game for training your HUMAN memory.
This program has some nice features for both children and adults.
(1) The program talks to you with a clown's face
(2) You can change the spoken texts by editing the .talks files;
the .talks_12.X files are for the AmigaDOS-1.2.
A phoneme-editor 'phonemed' has been included for easily
creating the phonetic texts.
(3) You can enter and change the names of the players by editing
file .names
(4) You can add your own pictures by creating IFF-files.
Please send them to me for re-distribution
(5) You can change the number of cards
(5) You play against the computer. And in that case, you can set
the "memory" capabilities of the computer. At the low levels
the computer forgets easily; at the highest level, the computer
does forget nothing. This gives you a fair chance to beat the
computer.
The rest of the documentation is provided in doc.E (English), doc.D
(Deutsch), and doc.N (Nederlands).
The installation is straightforward: extract the files in a separate
directory. The program can be started from the WorkBench or the CLI.
