The AmigaDOS Resource Project (ARP) was a project created by a group
of Amiga developers who also wished to offer enhancements to the early
AmigaDOS, as well as offer to C programmers a set of equal or more
powerful DOS programming features that could only be accessed from
the normal dos.library by using the BCPL language.

You will be interested to note that all of ARP's extended functionality
was made available in the 2.0 and above releases of dos.library, as well
as making all features available in the normal Amiga library fashion.


ARP is manifested in the following software components:

- a library, arp.library
- a set of replacement commands for CBM's original BCPL commands in C:,
  these either duplicate or enhance the originals.
- a shell (which runs only under WB1.3)

NOTE: THIS SOFTWARE IS OBSOLETE. Do _not_ install it on an Amiga with WB2.0
or better. This upload to aminet is simply to make this historic package
more easily accessable.

'Later' hacked versions of arp.library are available, these route the ARP
calls back into AmigaDOS. These programs are designed for and require WB2.0
or better.
