***************************************Introduction***********************************

LDBA Launches apps from a list of installed apps. An app in this context is any software that can
run in the DOSBox_0.74,034 68k (AGA or RTG) MS DOS emulator environment. Games, Utilities,
Productivity software, and even certain early versions of Windows are possible. LDBA also allows
the user to modify the configuration under which each app runs. DOSBox system messages and this
guide can be also viewed. The user can remove apps from the list and install new apps to the list.
Finally, LDBA creates "shortcuts" which can launch installed apps from anywhere on your system.

LDBA will also work with version 0.74.3.09 of DOSBox_RTG, however, it has not been updated too
account for the changes and new options made to the config files. The user will have to
manually insert these changes as needed.

***************************************Requirements*************************************

DOSBox 0.74.034 (AGA or RTG) or DOSBox_RTG 0.74.3.09 (aminet)

WBRun 2.2 (aminet) must be installed in the Path.

GUI4Cli (aminet)- must be FULLY installed. not just gui and gui4cli.
   
For Best Results
   A Screen Mode of 1024x768 or larger is recomended. The gui will open on smaller screens, but
   the button text will be severely truncated.

Recommendations
   MicroGoldEd8sp10+ (aminet) or similar advanced text editing software.

   WinIconz001 (aminet) to find cool PC-style icons for any new shortcuts you create, Be sure
   to set IconX as the default tool for ".Run" icons in the shortcuts folder, but if you change
   any ".Run" icons in DOSBox:S or DOSBox:C/S_BAK, be sure to also set the Script protection bit.
   
   SetPatch44.x (cloanto) and Iconlib46.4 (aminet)

   IconEditor2.0 (OS4 Depot). 32x32 Newicons are rather small. Use this to make them 48x48 PNG icons.


************************************Installation********************************************

1> Ensure all requirements are in place,

2> Run the installer script.

The installer script will

a> Allow you to choose the icon set that will work best for your system. LDBA offers three choices:
MWB Icons, NewIcons and PNG icons.

Your choice may be dictated by the version of Icon Library that you have installed. The PNG icons
require version 51.4 or higher (found in the IcoLib46.4 packet). The Newicons require the newicon
library or OS3.5+ while the MWB icons should be compatible with every Amiga system since 2.0.

b> Move the 6 DOSBox docs (2 Readme's, Copying, Authors, News and Thanks)
into the DOSBox:docs folder. There is an icon in the docs folder for each file.

c> Unpack the icon set directly into a clean DOSBox: installation. It should overwrite/replace
the original DOSBox_0.74.conf file.

d> Give you the option to read the full LDBA guide (highly recommended) and run LDBA immediately.
