QSRedit V0.1 alpha  ©1998 Petri Savolainen Freeware  

This is an alpha version of QSRedit, a stand-alone patch editor for 
Alesis QSR synthesizers. If you decide to try this program, you do it at
your own risk. Current settings of the synthesizer will not be saved!   

Installation/usage: Connect the synthesizer to the serial port 0 and
				initialize sounds 1-4 in the program mode to make it 
				in sync with QSRedit.    
				Drag the QSRedit drawer anywhere on your hard disk 
				and start the program. 

Please let me know if you have tried QSRedit. Send me bug reports 
and/or comments to <skylined@iwn.fi>. This program will be developed 
further only if I get enough feedback from you (why to write a program 
if nobody needs it?). 

Features/restrictions:

		-edits and saves the parameters  
		-single-window gadtools interface
		-programmed in 100% assembly, needs only 15kb of free ram 	
	
		-program mode only
		-opens serial.device unit 0 in shared mode, no "free midi" button    
		-default public screen only 
		-not yet font sensitive 
		-many bugs ;)
                 
To do: 	-implementing the three other modes of Alesis QSR
		-support for sending samples to the synthesizer 
		-better GUI (maybe MUI/Classact) 
		-tooltypes 
		-killing the bugs (I need your help!)   
		-etc. etc. ..... mail me!
