Publicising screenshots of personal workbench configurations seems to be the
latest fad, so I figured I'd join in. Here's my attempt to silence the critics
who doubt the credibility of the Amiga's graphical user interface. Show 'em to
your PC friends. 8)
The screen size is 640x512x16 interlaced (argh!) on a A2000. 16-color icons
courtest of R.D. McVey (Commodore should hire this guy to make their standard
icons!).
The pictures is adapted from the book cover of AD Police 25:00 by
Toni Takezaki. I drew it in 320x256x32 using Dpaint 3, scaled and remapped it
to a 16-color WB palette and in hires with ADPro, and placed it in the backdrop
using NickPrefs.
The neat pop-up menu is from Silicon Menu, something Commodore UI designers
should learn from.
TO WB3.0 USERS: Please upload more wb3.0 screenshots, in particular those
showing the colorwheel and locale preferences. How configurable are windows
in terms of border, highlight, shadow, background and pen colors? Can inactive
windows use a different color from the background? Thanks in advance.

sales and technical support! PC's are really cheap here..."
