This is a short ARexx script that extracts the version number from printer drivers.
Printer drivers do not currently have reliable version information that can be
extracted with the version command, and for eg. Ghostscript, v44 printer drivers
are required.
Usage:
rx pdversion.rexx <path and filename>
example:
rx pdversion.rexx devs:printers/generic
Will return:
35.40
On OS4 the 'rx' is not required.
