Using 'yaws' or another window switcher ? It is so buggy ? Here is 
another commodity hotkeys set for aos3.xx (i hope for aos4.xx too)

Alt+F4  - close active window.
Alt+Tab - swith window.
Alt+Shift+Tab - switch screens.
