Short: MPEG video of Andromeda demo 'Nexus 7' Author: Andromeda (demo), UnreaL (mpeg) Uploader: unreal fly cc fer hr (Goran UnreaL Krajnovic) Type: pix/mpg Architecture: generic When I first got my Amiga 1200, the very first demo I ever saw was Andromeda's Nexus 7. It was so totally cool... One of the classic Amiga demos, with state-of-the-art effects, excellent music and great looks. Anyway, on the day I sold my trusty Amiga, I plugged her into my brand-new PC (booh :) which has a TV-Tuner card and I grabbed the whole demo into an AVI video and then encoded it into mpeg. The AVI file was somewhere around 500 MB (without compression) and the encoding took approx. 30 minutes, on a Pentium 166 with Xing MPEG Encoder. This is a MPEG-1 video and audio stream with a bit-rate of 600 kbit/sec, image resolution is 240x180 and the audio is 22 kHz/mono. Special greetings go to Andromeda for making a cool demo. :) This is probably my last upload to Aminet, since I am totally off the amiga scene now (and I really am sorry for that). If you want to check out some of my more serious amiga works, see the directory pix/unrl on Aminet, or go to http://fly.cc.fer.hr/~unreal.
