About pause 38.0 :

Pause is a tiny command that waits until the user presses the
<RETURN> key or the <ENTER> key.

The command is most likely to be used in scripts after another command, with
extensive output, so the user has a chance to read the output, before the
script continues.

Pause can be interrupted by pressing <CTRL-C> if you feel a strong
need for doing that. Interrupting the program in this way will return an
error code of 304, the standard AmigaDOS 'ERROR_BREAK' code.

Pause is localized/localizeable

Pause is public domain, and the HighSpeed Pascal source code is
distributed in the archive

Requirements :
 * AmigaDOS 2.1
