Short: hide/show all windows with one keypress Author: Matthias "UltraGelb" Böcker Uploader: aminet aminet net Type: util/cdity Architecture: ppc-morphos Introduction ------------ Unmask is small commodity which hides all windows on the desktop with one keypress and brings them back with another keypress. Requirements ------------ - MorphOS - hotkeystring.mcc V12.1 (http://sourceforge.net/projects/hotkeystring) Installation ------------ Simply copy unmask to some place you like and start it from there. Usage ----- The default setup is: F12 to hide all windows on the frontmost screen. F11 to hide all windows but the active window on the frontmost screen. F10 to hide all windows but the active window and all windows that belong to the same application on the frontmost screen. The hotkeys are configurable via the commodities context which can be opened with 'Show Interface' of Exchange. Note: Backdrop windows can't be hidden. Note2: It seems F-Keys are not working properly with MorphOS release 1.4.x. You will need an updated commodities.library to have working F-Keys for unmask. History ------- V1.3 (23-Mar-2005) ================== - Now displays left/top edge and dimensions of each window in the context menu. V1.2 (12-Mar-2005) ================== - The number of hidden windows in the information window is now updated when a window is made visible again via the context menu. Also the corresponding entry in the context menu gets removed. V1.1 (10-Mar-2005) ================== - The information window now has a context menu which contains all hidden windows. - If started a second time the first unmask instance won't quit anylonger but will open its prefs instead. - Now preserves the depth arrangement of the windows when reshowing them. - Window count of hidden windows wasn't accurate. Fixed. v1.0 (08-Mar-2005) ================== - First release Author & Contact ---------------- #amigazeux - Matthias "UltraGelb" Böcker IRC: Network: DarkMyst IRC Network (irc.amigazeux.net) Channel: #amigazeux Disclaimer ---------- unmask is FREEWARE.
