Short: Autodesk Animator FLI/FLC datatype Author: chris@unsatisfactorysoftware.co.uk (Chris Young) Uploader: chris unsatisfactorysoftware co uk (Chris Young) Type: util/dtype Version: 1.8 Architecture: ppc-amigaos >= 4.0.0 URL: http://www.unsatisfactorysoftware.co.uk/ This is a datatype for Autodesk Animator FLI/FLC files, collectively known as FLIC animations. There is a bit of optimisation still to do, but this is playing all my test files correctly without crashing. Seeking through files sometimes causes it to go haywire, and occasionally will crash, so be careful with that! INSTALLATION ============ Double-click on Install and follow the prompts. If you prefer to o this manually, copy data/flic.datatype to sys:classes/datatypes, and data/FLIC to devs:datatypes History ======= v1.8 (26.03.2009) * Changed to use old 32-bit API. This fixes a bug causing the datatype to crash on JXFS partitions. v1.7 (01.06.2008) First proper release * Fixed seeking some more, still get occasional problems when searching forward/back in files using the gadgets in Multiview. * Colour palette now updates properly again for each frame. v1.6 fixed seeking (maybe) v1.5 Implemented caching, plays at good framerate now except when the framerate appears to be set wrong in the file v1.4 was reading past the end of chunk 7 when packet type of 0 was present, fixed v1.3 file pointer was in the wrong position after parsing some sub-chunks, still getting sme crashes which may be related (reading past the end of the chunk?) v1.2 fixed chunk 7 so FLC now work, updated the descriptor so it would recognise them, some minor optimisations, palette changes mid-anim should now work. v1.1 beta release, only FLI supported ------- The icons are by Ken "Ken's Icons" Lester.
