Short: Tidies Workbench icons across subfolders Author: Kerry Thompson Uploader: kwezza gmail com Type: util/wb Version: 1.0 Requires: util/arc/lha Architecture: m68k-amigaos >= 3.0.0 License: MIT License iTidy is a Workbench utility for tidying icon layouts and drawer window sizes across folders and directory trees. It was written to deal with the mess left behind by large archive extractions, particularly WHDLoad collections where thousands of drawers end up with inconsistent icon positions and window sizes. iTidy works by updating Workbench .info files only. It does not modify the contents of your data files. Main features include: - Automatic icon grid layout - Drawer window resizing and positioning - Recursive processing of subfolders - Optional LhA-based backup and restore - Default Tool validation and repair Usage: Start iTidy from Workbench, select a folder or partition, choose your options, and start processing. Recursive mode can be used to tidy entire directory trees in one pass. Notes: - For large folder trees, processing can take time on real hardware. - Workbench may cache drawer window sizes until windows are reopened or Workbench is restarted. - Icon/layout backups and Default Tool backups are handled separately. Documentation: Full documentation is provided in AmigaGuide format. See iTidy.guide for detailed usage instructions and option descriptions. Disclaimer: This program is provided as-is and without warranty. No responsibility is accepted for data loss or other damage. Always back up important data before use.
